What is Gallastar Equine Center?
Gallastar Equine Center is a therapeutic riding and animal-assisted therapy center based in Albemarle County, Virginia. Gallastar delivers evidence-based therapies that involve working with horses and other animals to improve the lives of children and their families, including children with disabilities, veterans, victims of physical and sexual abuse, children on the Autism Spectrum, and children from refugee families who have experienced neglect, trauma, and homelessness.
What did the client need?
Gallastar selected Eagle Creek Partners to assist with the creation of its mission, vision, and values statements, along with strategic initiatives and business plan objectives to help the organization achieve its goals for expansion.
Why is this project important?
The strategic initiatives developed for this project will drive planning and decision-making to help the organization build financial strength, attract and retain volunteers, expand current programs, and raise awareness among key stakeholders.
